

rFOIL Metalized Foil Barrier has been specifically designed for insulating commercial and residential building assemblies, reducing the amount of radiant heat transfer. rFOIL Metalized Foil Barrier is constructed as either a single or double layer of polyethylene bubbles, sandwiched between two highly reflective surfaces. All products in this line are classified as Class 1 / Class A in accordance with the ASTM-E84-09 fire test standard. This product was mounted in accordance to ASTM-E2599-08.

Benefits
INSTALLATION METHOD
1. Staple the rFOIL® Insulation to the first truss with at least 5/16” staples.
2. Unroll the product across the trusses, pull tight and staple.
3 Run subsequent rFOIL® Insulation and butt it up to the previous installed layer
4. Apply rFOIL® tape to seams or use the the
Quick-Seam tab (if available) to seal the edges.
5. Install purlins over the rFOIL® insulation. Nail or screw to the trusses through the product.
5. Attach metal roofing as usual
